Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak‘s new R&B supergroup Silk Sonic have topped Billboard‘s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with the help of the duo’s first single, “Leave the Door Open.”
The single rose from the 2nd spot to No. 1 on the chart dated April 24, as audience impressions gained 9% to 20.8 million in the week ending April 18, according to MRC Data.
This earns Mars his third No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay after “That’s What I Like” in 2017 and “Please Me,” his collaboration with Cardi B, in 2019. Anderson .Paak netted his first chart-topper.
Earlier this month, “Leave the Door Open” topped Billboard‘s all-genre Hot 100 chart.
