Beyoncé has joined Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney to become only the third artist to reach the milestone of 20 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as a solo artist and 10 as a member of a group.
She is also the only female artist to earn this achievement.
Beyoncé hit this mark when “Break My Soul,” the lead single from her upcoming new album Renaissance, leapt from No. 15 to No. 7 on the Hot 100 chart dated July 9. The exclusive club is led by McCartney, with 23 solo top 10s and 34 with The Beatles, and followed by Jackson, with 30 solo top 10s and 11 as a member of the Jackson 5/Jacksons.
Renaissance is scheduled for release on July 29. She unveiled the hot cover art for the album last week.
Speaking about the making of the album on that occasion, Queen Bey said, “Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.”
